Indiana Farm Bureau endorses Todd Rokita for Congress
(Avon, IN) – Indiana Farm Bureau ELECT, the political action committee of Indiana Farm Bureau has endorsed Todd Rokita for Congress in Indiana’s 4th District.
Indiana’s fourth congressional district includes all or part of Boone, Clinton, Fountain, Hendricks, Johnson, Lawrence, Marion, Monroe, Montgomery, Morgan, Tippecanoe and White counties. The ELECT trustees representing those counties made the endorsement.
“I have a deep appreciation for the vital role agriculture plays in the cultural and economic fabric of the 4th district and I’m honored to have earned the endorsement of Indiana Farm Bureau ELECT,” Rokita said. “In Congress, I’ll work to ensure Indiana farmers and manufacturers have access to open markets around the globe for their products, eliminate the “Death Tax” or “Estate Tax”, and oppose the so-called “Cap and Trade” scheme that would drive up fuel, fertilizer and energy costs for farmers and consumers.”
Indiana Farm Bureau is the state’s largest farm organization, with 280,000 members including 80,000 farmer members throughout the state.
