Rokita Files for Re-Election
Indianapolis, IN – Today Representative Todd Rokita filed paperwork with the Indiana Secretary of State’s office to seek re-election for a second term in Indiana’s Fourth Congressional District and released this statement:
“I remain committed to our shared Hoosier values, and I humbly ask the voters of Indiana’s Fourth Congressional District to allow me to continue serving our state and nation. With the 2010 election, we began a course correction and started what may turn out to be a generation-long fight to return our nation to Constitutional principles. What some thought could be corrected in a few months, or even one presidential election, is turning out to be a fight over the heart and soul of our nation. It’s a fight not only worth having, but one I believe must occur if we are going to ‘keep the Republic’ as our Founders challenged us to do long ago.
I am grateful for the trust Hoosiers have placed in me the past two years, and I look forward to continuing to work to reduce the size and scope of the Federal government, return our nation to Constitutional principles and secure a brighter future for our children and grandchildren. I am ready for the fight ahead.”
